Tourism in Slovakia is unlike her neighbour The Czech Republic still in development. But this little and beautiful country has a lot to offer. Slovakia has a rich folk architecture, beautiful castles, caves and historical houses. Some of them are even registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list. |
The boarding house KAMZÍK is located in Central Slovakia, in the village Lieskovec, at about 5 km from the city Zvolen (map). It is situated in a valley between the national parks the Low Tatra and the Great Fatra and the mountain range of Pol’ana, Stiavnica and Kremnica. |

The landscape in the neighbourhood of our boarding house offers a lot of variation. You can meet bears, lynxes, wolves and red deer in their natural environment. Central Slovakia is due to it’s position an ideal region for walking, cycling, cross-country skiing and relaxing in spas or thermal springs. In spring and summer the mountainous meadows are full of flowers and butterflies. |
In winter these meadows are covert with a white blanket ideal for cross-country skiing and skiing for a reasonable price. An exciting trip with sled dogs is also possible.
Nearby our boarding house you can find some old ruins of castles and - an unique wooden church build in 1800, with two monumental lime trees in front of the church.
In the evening you can consider your experiences with a glass of wine in our common room near the fireplace, on the bar or in front of the TV, on the terrace, or the balcony. Relaxing is possible in a health resort, spa or thermal spring in the close neighbourhood of our boarding house.

We offer you stay in our boarding house with bed and breakfast and a parking place closed with a barrier. Our boarding house has five rooms (two triple rooms and three double rooms). An extra bed in your room is possible. The rooms have their own bathroom with toilet, shower and washbasin and a hallway. We can provide you further service in your order, e.g. hairdresser and massage. |
